Navigating Change, Conflict, and Diversity in the Church

Effective church leadership requires that a pastor navigate three ever-present realities within the church: change, conflict, and diversity. A church that fails to change will die. A church that cannot make peace will split. A church afraid of diversity will struggle to connect with its community. This course is designed to help ministry leaders learn how to help their church experience healthy change, broker lasting peace, and embrace diversity.

This course satisfies “Level 1 Peacemaking Certification” and “Multicultural Competency Training” requirements for Consecration and Ordination in the Alliance.

Building Blocks of the Church

The Mission of the church is two-fold. First, the church must go and preach the Gospel. Second, the church must teach believers how to follow Christ. This course focuses on the foundational elements of church multiplication. Topics covered include evangelism, developing leadership development structures for the local church, church planting strategies, and the role of the Holy Spirit in church multiplication.

This course satisfies “evangelism” and “church health” training requirements for Consecration and Ordination in the Alliance.
