Who is the Alliance Center for Leadership Development?
Can your program help me become a Pastor in the Alliance?
To be qualified to serve as a Pastor within the Christian and Missionary Alliance a candidate is required to have a minimum of 30 credits of study in Bible, Theology, and Ministry Leadership (minimum of 18 credits in Bible or Theology) from an accredited institution for higher education or an approved alternative program of study. ACLD is the primary alternative program of the C&MA. The School of Ministry program fully satisfies the educational requirements for licensure as an Alliance Pastor.
Is this a program for Pastors only?
No! Our programs are open to anyone interested in growing their knowledge of the Bible and ministry leadership.
What resources will I need to succeed in this program?
In order to successfully complete your work through ACLD you will need access to a computer, a solid internet connection and access to course texts (all available for purchase through Amazon).
Help! This is my first online course.
All enrolled student will have access to training in how to learn online. Additionally, all students have access to our Student Success Course which is full of helpful articles and videos on how to thrive in an online learning environment.
What can I do with my graduation certificate?
School of Ministry graduates will have satisfied all educational requirements for licensing within the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Additionally, many of our courses can be accepted for credit at various Christian colleges and universities.
