Taking its name and inspiration from Matthew 28:19, Project 2819 is an online discipleship and leadership development platform designed to help churches build disciples who make disciples and nurture leaders who engage their community. This curriculum includes discipleship courses, elder training, evangelism courses, and biblical leadership courses. Children’s Ministry Leadership Certificate

The Children’s Ministry Leadership Certificate Program is a curated set of courses designed to provide ministry training for women and men serving children and families in the local church. Courses help develop ministry leadership skills, discuss modern challenges, and foster a biblical and strategic approach to disciplining the next generation.

The CMLC program is a self-directed program which includes 3 courses. Each course costs $210.00. Students who graduate from this program may transfer their credits into the School of Ministry.

Module 1 – Principles and Purpose of Children’s Ministry

Module 3 – Children’s Leaders in Todays Culture

Youth Ministry Leadership Certificate

The Youth Ministry Leadership Certificate is a 6-credit program designed to equip volunteer youth workers in local Alliance churches with the essential knowledge and skills needed to disciple and lead young people effectively. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of relational discipleship, biblical teaching, adolescent development, and missional engagement. Each module combines foundational theory with practical application, ensuring that volunteers can confidently support the spiritual formation and leadership development of the youth in their churches.

The YMLC program is a self-directed program which includes 3 courses. Each course costs $210.00. Students who graduate from this program may transfer their credits into the School of Ministry.

Module 1 – Foundation of Youth Ministry
Module 2 – Youth Ministry Principles and Practices
Module 3 – Developing a Thriving and Multiplying Youth Ministry Culture

Elder Training Program

ACLD offers foundational courses in biblical leadership designed to help local churches prepare and develop new leaders, elders, and governing board members. These courses are included in a subscription to Project2819. Participants will learn about biblical and pastoral leadership, Alliance church governance, and the theological foundations of the local church. They will also be introduced to the key beliefs and positions of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and learn how the local church relates to the broader denominational family.

These four courses are:

Biblical Leadership 4: Governance

Protect the Church

Serving the young and the vulnerable has always been a priority for the local church. In today’s culture doing this with excellence and care has never been more important. This course trains those who plan to work with children ages 18 and under to engage with minors safely. This training includes certification through Plan to Protect (0-18 and Vulnerable Populations Orientation) which may help satisfy local insurance requirements for your local church.

This program is self-directed and may be started at any point. The course has 4 units which can be completed in under a month. The cost of this certificate is $35.00.
